12/19/2023 0 Comments Panzer corps 2 manual![]() We did not want to burden the player with counting supply points, moving around non-combat supply units etc. Supply rules will play a more significant role in Panzer Corps 2, compared to Panzer Corps, but the emphasis is on the effect supply has on battlefield tactics. Tell us more about the new encirclement mechanics Will there be front lines, supply lines and more advanced supply rules? So we’ve decided to address the most important of these questions here.īypassing the heavily fortified Maginot Line, the Germans strike deep into France Lately we received several questions about the game, on Slitherine, Steam and Youtube. The format of this dev diary will be a bit unusual. It is still not too late to apply for Panzer Corps 2 beta! Panzer Corps 2 got a Steam page now! If you are interested in this game, it would be a good idea to add it your wishlist. If you have not seen these videos yet, what are you waiting for? While the second one was a full-blown gameplay reveal featuring almost 40 minutes of video footage and a Q&A session. The first one was focused more on the graphics, There have been two in-depth streams about Panzer Corps 2. ![]() Also, several other important events happened in the meantime. But we haven’t been idle! In fact we have been very busy with the game and made some very good progress. ![]() It has been a while since the last dev diary. Hi all! Welcome to a new issue of Panzer Corps 2 Dev Diaries! I only wish people as bright as you were on the dev team of this game.“Funny, but I was afraid that graphics will be at the first place in new PzC, at the expense of playability.īut it turns out that (at least at this point) the logical "layer" of the game is definitely better than the "graphic" layer”. I'm happy to give you an award for going above and beyond in your answer. If a person treats other people the way the game "rewards" a player, that person will have no friends. This is a mature game, and clearly the game devs have never had employees, trained a dog, raised children or had a love interest. If I were to treat my employees this way and penalize them for doing what the team needs and what they have been trained to do, then I would no longer have any employees. Either the goal is to finish the scenario quickly, thus I'm reminded that I'm losing bonus prestige for each turn I take, or the game is asking me to hold out and is letting me know there is no penalty for doing what the game is asking me to do. I've uninstalled it because I'm losing prestige bonus each turn that I'm achieving the goals the game has asked. I would keep playing the game if I weren't being penalized for doing exactly what the game asked me to do. I appreciate you taking the time to make it clear to me. Hidden caches and bonus objectives would never be in such locations, so you can just let them go. If "Raid XX" (iirc not in SCW, but later AO DLCs as a bonus objective), then you just need to own that hex for once and can give it up after that.ītw, if you noticed lines of mines and strongpoints (usually insanely overstrengthened) like the one in your screenshot, then that's where enemy reinforcements will spawn, and you were not meant to attack these locations to avoid suddenly spawn of such units right before you. If "Control XX", then this would be a defensive scenario that you need to hold until all turn runs out. If it says "Capture XX", then you need to capture target hexes and own all of them at any given time. ![]() Doesn't it read that way to you as well? Thanks! Because your main objective says "control", not "capture", which means there will be counter-attacks and you should defend them until scenario ends. Why won't it tell me that I won the scenario and that I need to hold out until the end? Looks to me like I'm being penalized for not "winning the scenario" and that my reward is decreasing each turn. Additional reward will be given if the scenario is won on the current turn (with 7 turns left). I'm 100% confused by the second screenshot. Originally posted by TheMac:Thank you both.
